Our Spring Conference is behind us, we’re still waiting for the sun to shine, and MEREDA is wrapping up one of our must successful legislative sessions ever. We believe we will end the session with updates, clarifications, and new laws that make the prospect of developing and owning real estate in Maine more attractive. One new law that limits the time in which a municipality can retroactively repeal or revoke a building permit, is a huge step in the right direction.
While we don’t have an active schedule of events and programs in the summer, that doesn’t mean we won’t be working hard on planning our fall events. Be sure to check the events calendar at www.mereda.org for updated information.
